What Is Combined Care? Chiropractic and Acupuncture in One Visit

How it works
When you book a Combined Care visit at our Mineola office, both doctors — Dr. Lawrence Luo, DC, and Dr. Yang Wei, DC, LAc — review your history and examine you together. They agree on a plan in the room, then deliver it as one integrated session: your chiropractic adjustment, with acupuncture point selection chosen specifically to support it.
That coordination is the point. Acupuncture can relax the muscles and nervous system your adjustment is about to work on — or settle the tissue response after. When the two are chosen together instead of by accident, each makes the other more effective.
What Combined Care is good for
Back and neck pain that hasn't resolved with one approach alone; chronic tension where muscle guarding keeps undoing adjustments; recovery and performance for people who train or play sports; stress-linked symptoms; and first visits for people who aren't sure which approach they need.
