Meet Dr. Yang Wei

Dr. Yang Wei is The Point’s dual-licensed chiropractor and acupuncturist, and the clinic’s only acupuncturist. She provides Combined Care (chiropractic and acupuncture in one visit) during regular office hours, as well as clinical nutrition care. Patients see her for back and neck pain, stress, sleep problems, fertility and women’s health, and recovery after surgery. She speaks English and Mandarin Chinese.

Dr. Yang Wei, DC, LAc, MSCN

Dr. Yang Wei — known to patients as Dr. Wei — is a rare dual-licensed provider: a New York State Doctor of Chiropractic and a NY-licensed, NCCAOM board-certified acupuncturist, with a Master of Science in Clinical Nutrition (MSCN). She blends Western chiropractic with Traditional Chinese Medicine — acupuncture, cupping, gua sha, and moxibustion — to treat pain, stress, sleep problems, fertility and women's health, and post-surgical recovery. Because she is dual-licensed, Dr. Wei can deliver both chiropractic and acupuncture in a single Combined Care session, giving patients truly integrated treatment from one doctor.

Dr. Wei earned her bachelor’s degree in Chinese Medicine from Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine in China (南京中医药大学), with training in acupuncture and herbal medicine and a one-year hospital internship. She then earned her Doctor of Chiropractic and Master of Science in Clinical Nutrition at Northeast College of Health Sciences (formerly New York Chiropractic College). Dr. Wei is certified in Sports Injury Management, Fascial Movement Taping, Connective Tissue Therapy, and the Activator Method. She also has experience with weight loss, stress relief, beauty treatments, and neuromuscular pain.

Dr. Wei speaks English and Mandarin Chinese.
